Will Barnes didn’t just stumble into excavation—he was practically born into it. Raised on his granddaddy’s farm, Will learned to run heavy equipment before most kids could ride a bike. Early mornings and dirt-covered boots were just part of life. And while others were playing, Will was learning how to dig, grade, and build from the ground up.

In 2021, he turned that lifelong passion into a business of his own: Barnes Excavation and Grading LLC. Today, Will leads every project with the same values he learned growing up—hard work, precision, and a deep respect for the land.

What drives him? The satisfaction of seeing a raw piece of property transformed into something his clients have only dreamed of. Whether it’s carving out a driveway, digging a basement, or shaping a pond, Will’s favorite place to be is behind the controls, turning vision into reality.
